Torrential Rains Cause Fatalities in Kerala; Red Alert Issued

Incessant rainfall has claimed the lives of four individuals in Kerala, as confirmed by the State’s Disaster Management Authority (KSDMA). Due to the severe weather conditions, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a red alert for heavy showers on Thursday, May 23. In response to the ongoing deluge, Health Minister Veena George has established a state-level control room within the Health Department Directorate.
