The Singapore Tourism Board (STB) and Skyscanner, a leading global travel search site, have signed a two-year agreement to enhance Singapore’s attractiveness as a travel destination. The partnership will focus on joint marketing campaigns, improved stopover travel solutions, and increased brand awareness.
Mitch Peters, president of the Indiana Dunes Tourism Board, survived a vote to remove him from his position following a contentious meeting with the Porter County Council. Council members voted 3-3, with Peters’ removal motion failing due to the absence of one member. Despite council concerns over handling of former CEO Lorelei Weimer’s departure, Peters apologized and outlined changes to the board’s operations. Board of Commissioners President Jim Biggs, however, plans to restructure the board, removing Peters on May 14.
