The Stonestown Revitalization Project, a collaboration between Brookfield Properties and the City of San Francisco, aims to transform the Stonestown Galleria into a vibrant town center featuring housing, civic spaces, and retail. The project envisions 3,500 new homes, including affordable housing and dedicated units for seniors and students. Six acres of publicly accessible parks and plazas will provide green spaces for recreation and community gatherings. The redevelopment is expected to create new jobs in construction and on-site employment, as well as funding for park improvements and enhanced Muni transit services.
