Black Teen Empowerment Summit at Township High School District 214 Fosters Belonging and Well-being

For nearly a decade, the “Black Teen Empowerment Summit” has been bringing together students from the Township High School District 214 to promote a sense of belonging, self-awareness, and wellness. This year’s summit, held at Rolling Meadows High School on April 19, featured motivational speakers, inspirational activities, and a celebration of Black heritage and culture. Principal Megan Kelly emphasized the importance of such events in fostering diversity and unity within the district.
