A tragic car accident has claimed the lives of three seniors in Brisbane’s northern suburbs. The incident occurred on April 5th, when a 78-year-old man driving a Toyota RAV4 with two female passengers, aged 76 and 74, veered off Linkfield Road in Bald Hills and crashed into a fence, critically injuring all occupants. Despite the best efforts of medical professionals, two of the victims, a 76-year-old woman and the driver, succumbed to their injuries on April 20th and Tuesday, respectively, bringing the total death toll to three. Investigations are underway to determine the cause of the crash, with police appealing for witnesses to come forward with any information that could assist in the inquiry.
