Delayed Trains on Suburban and Long-Distance Routes Due to Cattle Run-Over and Technical Glitches

Train services on Wednesday evening were disrupted due to a cattle run-over incident near Kasara station and a technical glitch, causing delays in suburban and long-distance trains, as reported by news agency PTI. A Kasara-bound local train experienced extended delays between Khardi and Kasara after a cattle was hit by the train around 5:30 pm, leading to a braking system issue. The train was subsequently assisted by another engine and taken to Kasara station. Additionally, a technical glitch affected a train near Ghatkopar station in Mumbai around 6 pm, resulting in its diversion to Thane station for repairs.
