Hong Kong Airport to Launch Largest Autonomous Electric Bus System

Kwoon Chung Bus Holdings Limited (KCBH) has secured a contract to establish the largest autonomous electric bus transportation system in Hong Kong, connecting the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge (HZMB) Hong Kong Port with the SKYCITY entertainment complex. This ‘Airportcity Link’ system, expected to be operational by the end of 2025, will feature autonomous electric buses carrying up to 16 passengers and one wheelchair user, significantly reducing travel time and accommodating growing passenger traffic.
