Travel Alert in UAE: Dust Storms and Reduced Visibility Expected

Travelers are being urged to take caution as strong winds are expected to stir up dust and sand across the UAE, especially in the western regions. The warning is in effect from 9 AM Wednesday until early Thursday morning, with the reduced visibility expected to make driving and air travel difficult. Temperatures are forecast to reach a high of 42 degrees Celsius inland, while the marine forecast indicates rough seas in the Arabian Gulf.

Oklahoma man faces up to 12 years in prison for carrying ammunition in Turks and Caicos airport

An Oklahoma man is facing up to 12 years in prison after being found with ammunition in his carry-on luggage at a Turks and Caicos Islands airport. The man, identified by his family as 40-year-old Ryan Watson, was arrested on April 12 as he and his wife, Valerie, were attempting to return home from a vacation. According to a GoFundMe page set up by the family, the couple had unknowingly left four rounds of ammunition in a bag from a recent deer hunting trip. The ammunition was not noticed by Transportation Security Administration (TSA) agents when the couple departed from the United States, but it was discovered by airport security in the Turks and Caicos Islands.
