Metro services along the entire Purple Line in Bengaluru have resumed normal operations after a tree branch fell onto the track, causing disruptions. The incident occurred at Trinity Metro Station, leading to delays and trains operating only within specific sections of the line. The Bengaluru Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRC) has confirmed that services have been fully restored and trains are running as per schedule from Challaghatta to Whitefield. Additionally, the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast partly cloudy skies with light rainfall across Karnataka for the next 48 hours, with the monsoon expected to arrive in various parts of the state, including Karnataka, within two to three days. Heavy rainfall and thundershowers are also likely in certain districts on June 6, 2024.
