The National Testing Agency (NTA) has been delayed in releasing the Common University Entrance Test (CUET-UG) results, originally scheduled for June 30. The UGC has stated that the NTA is working on the results and will announce the release date soon. The delay is attributed to the ongoing investigations into paper leaks in other entrance exams, including NEET-UG and UGC-NET.
The University Grants Commission (UGC) has de-listed Sangai International University in Manipur and advised against enrolling in any of its programs due to its failure to provide necessary information for inspection over several years. Despite repeated requests and a Show Cause Notice issued in December 2023, the university failed to respond, prompting the UGC to remove its recognition under Section 2(f) of the UGC Act, 1956. The UGC urges prospective students and parents to refrain from taking admission in Sangai University’s programs as any degrees awarded by the university will not be recognized for higher education or employment.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced that the Common University Entrance Test for Undergraduates (CUET UG) 2024 admit card and exam city information will be released by May 5th. Candidates who have registered for the exam can download their admit cards from the official website at cuetug.ntaonline.in. The exam is scheduled to be held from May 15th to 24th across 380 cities in India and 26 international locations. A record-breaking 13.48 lakh candidates have registered for the exam this year.
