Manohar Lal Khattar Likely to Join Modi’s Union Cabinet; Swearing-in Ceremony Today

Former Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar is expected to join Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Union cabinet, which will be sworn in on Sunday. Khattar, who won the Lok Sabha election from Karnal by a margin of over 2.3 lakh votes, attended a tea meeting hosted by Modi for potential cabinet members. The meeting included senior BJP leaders such as Amit Shah, Nitin Gadkari, and Nirmala Sitharaman, as well as representatives from allied parties like the TDP and JD(U). The swearing-in ceremony for Modi and his cabinet is scheduled for 7:15 pm today at the Rashtrapati Bhavan.
