Orpheus Pledger, a former Home and Away star, has left the hospital overnight without authorization, according to his lawyer Jasper MacCuspie. Pledger has been remanded since March 27 on charges of assault, causing injury, and unlawful assault. CCTV footage showed Pledger allegedly dragging a woman to the ground and stomping on her head. The victim sustained bruising to her neck, indicating a possible strangling attempt. Magistrate Justin Foster described the footage as ‘reasonably clear’ evidence of Pledger’s assault.
