Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed condolences over the tragic road accident in Unnao, Uttar Pradesh, where 18 people lost their lives and 19 others were injured. The accident involved a double-decker sleeper bus and a milk tanker on the Agra-Lucknow Expressway. PM Modi has announced an ex-gratia of Rs. 2 lakh from PMNRF for the next of kin of each deceased and Rs. 50,000 for the injured. Other prominent figures, including President Droupadi Murmu, Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh, and Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, have also expressed their condolences and offered assistance to the victims and their families.
