Fortnite 29.30 Downtime for Scheduled Maintenance

Fortnite developer Epic Games has announced that the game will be taken offline for server maintenance to implement update 29.30. The downtime will begin on April 23rd at 4 AM ET (9 AM BST) and is expected to last for a couple of hours. During this time, players will not be able to access Fortnite, LEGO Fortnite, Rocket Racing, or Fortnite Festival. The update will reportedly include a new NIKE crossover, a Billie Eilish appearance in Fortnite Festival, and other potential collaborations and features.

Fortnite Update 29.30 Brings Emote Ban and Star Wars Crossover

Fortnite update 29.30, to be released on April 23rd, introduces a new option to disable certain confrontational emotes, including ‘Laugh It Up’, ‘Take the L’, ‘Whipcrack’, and ‘Make It Plantain’. The update also includes numerous bug fixes, such as resolving an issue with the Battle Pass Page Two Quest Rewards timer ending early. Additionally, Fortnite insiders hint at a possible Star Wars crossover and the potential return of the Tactical AR.
