Marks and Spencer Unveils Major Store Changes, Expands Presence

Marks and Spencer (M&S), the renowned department store chain, is set to enhance its retail portfolio with a £30 million investment in its London stores and beyond. As part of its ‘store rotation programme’, the retailer plans to introduce two new branches in London and overhaul 12 existing stores, creating approximately 100 new jobs. The revitalized stores will feature upgraded amenities such as expanded in-store bakeries, dedicated flower and wine shops, and click-and-collect services. In addition, M&S will debut new market-style food halls in Sidcup and Friern Barnet, offering an elevated dining experience to customers. Outside of London, M&S will open four new full-line stores and nine food halls, expanding its presence across the United Kingdom.
