As cities worldwide witness a transformation in their streetscapes, the allure of road trips is being redefined. Urban redesigns are not only making roads safer but also more inviting, encouraging people to explore cities by foot, bike, or even behind the wheel. Central to these redesigns is the reallocation of road space, giving priority to pedestrians, cyclists, and public transport. This shift towards pedestrian-friendly environments and lower speed limits has a profound impact on safety and creates more attractive urban spaces for both residents and tourists.
