The C40 Food Systems Network, a global network of 50+ cities working to create healthy and sustainable food systems, has been awarded the prestigious Food Planet Prize 2024 for its efforts in tackling food-related challenges in urban environments. The network’s focus on reducing food loss and waste, promoting planetary health diets, and supporting cities in developing sustainable food policies has been recognized by the Food Planet Prize jury.
