Growing up in the 1990s and early 2000s, the author found solace in books and her terrace. Now in her late 30s, she has rediscovered the joy of spending time in Bengaluru’s parks. Despite the omnipresence of smartphones, she still finds moments of peace and human connection in the laughter of children, the gracefulness of a yoga practitioner, and the conversations with fellow parents. The parks have become islands of calm and coziness in an otherwise bustling urban environment.
