No one was injured when a vehicle crashed through Little Caesars Pizza, located at 18 Pantella Blvd. N.W., in Calgary on Thursday around noon. The building sustained significant damage, but the driver was unharmed. Police do not suspect criminal activity.
A 62-year-old man tragically lost his life on Monday evening after being struck by a vehicle while crossing a street with a wheelbarrow. The incident occurred in the 3100 block of West Carpenter Road around 5 p.m. Emergency responders were swiftly dispatched to the scene but unfortunately, the man succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased.
