Comedian Peter Kay has expressed disappointment over the postponement of his opening performances at the newly built Co-op Live arena in Manchester, originally scheduled for this week. The postponement was announced with less than 48 hours’ notice due to issues with the venue’s capacity for a test event on Saturday. Kay’s shows have been rescheduled for April 29 and 30, with the venue citing the need for additional testing and system completion. The £350 million arena, which boasts a seating capacity of 23,500, is expected to create thousands of jobs and host various events, including Harry Styles concerts.
