Trump and Harris Clash in First Vice Presidential Debate

The first and potentially only vice presidential debate between Donald Trump and Kamala Harris took place on Tuesday at the National Constitution Center in Philadelphia. The 90-minute debate, moderated by David Muir and Linsey Davis, covered topics like the economy, immigration, and the cost of living. This debate comes just eight weeks before the presidential election on November 5, 2024, and follows Harris’ consistent lead over Trump in recent polls.

Fox News Requests Opportunity to Host Vice Presidential Debate

Fox News Media has extended an invitation to the Trump and Biden campaigns to participate in a vice presidential debate before the 2024 election. The proposed debate would be hosted by Bret Baier and Martha MacCallum, and potential locations include Virginia State University. Former President Trump has accepted the invitation on behalf of a yet-to-be-determined vice presidential running mate. The Biden campaign has already agreed to a vice presidential debate with CBS News this summer. The scheduling of these debates follows Biden’s challenge to Trump for multiple debates, which Trump has accepted.
