The Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB) is set to energize the Dragon Boat Festival celebrations with an array of exciting activities along the iconic Victoria Harbour. From June 8th to 16th, festival-goers can enjoy a temporary food lane, photo opportunities, a festive drone show, a fireworks display, and exhilarating dragon boat races. The Avenue of Stars in Tsim Sha Tsui will host the “Summer Chill Food Lane” and “LINE Friends Hong Kong Summer Chill” featuring refreshing beverages, delicious treats, and opportunities to capture memories with beloved LINE Friends characters. The Wan Chai harbourfront will come alive with a vibrant Dragon Boat-themed drone show on June 10th and a spectacular pyrotechnic display on June 15th. The highlight of the festival, the “Hong Kong International Dragon Boat Races,” will take place on June 15th and 16th at the Tsim Sha Tsui Promenade, featuring over 170 teams from 12 countries and regions. This year’s event marks the 75th anniversary of the People’s Republic of China and includes special races, the Greater Bay Area Championship, and an entertaining “Fancy Dress Competition.”
