Vietnam Bridge Collapse: Typhoon Yagi’s Deadly Toll

Typhoon Yagi has brought devastating floods to Vietnam, causing the collapse of the Phong Chau Bridge in Phu Thọ province. The bridge collapse sent vehicles and people into the raging Red River, leaving at least 13 unaccounted for. Floodwaters have reached record levels in Hanoi, and the storm has claimed over 82 lives, making it one of Vietnam’s deadliest in decades.
