In a bid to revitalize its tourism industry, Thailand has extended visa waivers or granted visa-on-arrival privileges to citizens of 93 nations, enabling them to stay in the country for up to 60 days. This move aims to attract more tourists and generate revenue for the economy.
Travel between India and Thailand has surged by 50% thanks to an extended visa waiver initiative. The Thai authorities have prolonged the visa-free entry period for Indian travelers until November 11, 2024, leading to a significant increase in reservations and searches for Thailand trips. Popular destinations include Koh Samui, Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Koh Phangan, the Similan Islands, Ayutthaya, Sukhothai, Khao Lak, and Koh Lanta.
