A Brazilian man, Adriano Assis, miraculously avoided a deadly plane crash in Brazil after a mix-up at the airport caused him to miss his flight. Assis, who was running late due to his work at a local hospital, arrived at the airport just as his flight was about to depart. Despite his attempts to board, airport staff prevented him from doing so, saving his life. The plane, operated by Voepass Airlines, crashed shortly after takeoff, claiming the lives of 61 people.
