In preparation for the ICC T20 World Cup 2024, the International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced the schedule for the warm-up fixtures. Sixteen matches will be played from May 27 to June 1 in the United States and Trinidad and Tobago, with India playing Bangladesh on June 1 and Australia facing West Indies on May 30. Teams will be permitted to field all members of their 15-player squads during these matches, which will not carry international T20 status. Notably, Pakistan, England, and New Zealand will not participate in any warm-up matches, while South Africa will play an intra-squad match.
