The Strathmore Fire Department (SFD) has reported the disappearance of its newest recruit, a water rescue training mannequin affectionately named ‘Bob.’ Despite being specially designed for water rescue training, Bob vanished during a training exercise on Strathmore Lake on Wednesday. The mannequin, valued at approximately $2,000, is described as ‘last seen wearing blue shorts and taking on a lot of water.’ Chief David Sturgeon expressed concern over the malfunction that caused Bob to sink, as he is equipped with water pockets for buoyancy and is designed to float from the shoulders up.
