Tourism Malaysia is embarking on a sales mission to Oman and Qatar from May 12 to 15, 2024. The delegation, led by Director General of Tourism Malaysia Manoharan Periasamy, comprises 21 members representing Malaysia’s diverse tourism offerings. The mission aims to strengthen tourism relations, showcase Malaysia’s latest attractions, and forge productive partnerships with local travel trade partners. Business-to-business sessions, networking dinners, and detailed briefings will facilitate knowledge exchange and promote Malaysia’s vibrant tourism industry. The mission seeks to build on the success of the recent Arabian Travel Market 2024 and tap into the growing West Asian travel market, leveraging convenient direct flights from Oman and Qatar.
