West Bengal Governor CV Ananda Bose has instructed Raj Bhavan staff to ignore any communication from the Kolkata Police Special Enquiry Team (SET) in response to serious sexual harassment allegations against him. Bose cited immunities under Article 361, which prohibit inquiries against the Governor. Following the allegations, Kolkata Police had requested the presence of three Raj Bhavan personnel and CCTV footage to facilitate their investigation. However, no employees appeared, and the footage has not been provided. The Kolkata Police has registered a complaint but has not named the Governor, who denies the accusations. Additionally, West Bengal minister Chandrima Bhattacharya has been banned from entering Raj Bhavan premises due to her criticism of the Governor.
