Sage, a 3-year-old miniature poodle, claimed the top prize at the prestigious Westminster Kennel Club dog show in New York on Tuesday night. Handler Kaz Hosaka, who plans to retire after 45 years of competing, guided Sage to victory, marking the 11th win for poodles of various sizes at the event. Sage bested six other finalists, including Mercedes the German shepherd, Comet the shih tzu, and Monty the giant schnauzer.
