The Chili’s Grill and Bar restaurant in Irvine, located at 3745 Alton Parkway, has closed its doors for good, leaving the Westpark Plaza shopping center with one less dining option. The closure, which took place on Tuesday, April 16, comes after the expiration of Chili’s lease at the end of 2020. Brinker International, the parent company of Chili’s, opted not to renew the lease and will permanently close the location. A family-owned dining restaurant is expected to take over the space early next year, but no details about the new establishment have been released yet.
