The A10 MKII and C10 MKII Wiim Editions offer high-quality sound, multiroom capabilities, and integration with popular music services, making them a compelling alternative to Sonos.
Wiim has confirmed that its flagship network music player, the Wiim Ultra, will never support Apple AirPlay. This news comes as a disappointment to many, especially those who had purchased the device under the assumption that AirPlay support would be added via a firmware update. The lack of AirPlay support means that iPhone users cannot stream Apple Music to the Wiim Ultra losslessly at CD quality, as Bluetooth streaming only supports lower-quality codecs. Wiim is encouraging customers to use alternative streaming methods, but the absence of AirPlay remains a significant limitation for Apple Music fans.
