Tragic Flamingo Collision: 36 Birds Perish in Airplane Strike Near Mumbai

On Monday evening, a tragic incident occurred near Mumbai when at least 36 flamingos lost their lives after colliding with an Emirates flight. The migratory birds hit the aircraft over Ghatkopar, causing damage to the plane but no injuries to passengers or crew. The Emirates flight, EK508, landed safely at Mumbai Airport despite the bird strike. Authorities recovered 29 flamingo bodies on Monday night and four to five more on Tuesday morning. The incident prompted the cancellation of the return flight, EK509, to Dubai, scheduled for May 20. Emirates has expressed regret for any inconvenience caused and emphasized their commitment to safety.

Near-Fatal Alligator Attack: Diver Severely Breaks Arm

Will Georgitis, a diver, was attacked by an alligator in the Cooper River in South Carolina, resulting in a severely broken arm. After being pinned underwater and nearly running out of oxygen, Georgitis managed to escape by stabbing the gator with a screwdriver and ripping his arm free.
