The Orangutan Project Issues Urgent Appeal for Baby House Construction

The Orangutan Project is experiencing a surge in the number of rescued orphaned orangutans, and it is crucial to provide them with specialized care and attention. The purpose-built Baby House at the Bornean Orangutan Rescue Alliance (BORA) Rescue & Rehabilitation Centre in Berau, Indonesia, will provide the necessary care for these vulnerable infants. It will feature an activity center, nesting pods, climbing poles, and a baby care room, as well as a team of trained and compassionate caregivers who will nurture and socialize the orangutans. The Orangutan Project invites donations to support the construction and operation of the Baby House, and donations of $1,000 or more will be recognized on an honor board in the facility.
