Edmonton Police Investigate Suspicious Death of 65-Year-Old Man

Homicide detectives are investigating the suspicious death of a 65-year-old man found deceased inside a residence in northeast Edmonton. Officers responding to a call at 135A Avenue and 68th Street on Saturday evening discovered the victim’s body. Two individuals present at the scene, a man and a woman, were detained but their status remains unclear. An autopsy is scheduled for Wednesday. Murder Probe Launched After Two People Burn to Death in London House Fire

Two unidentified bodies were discovered inside a house in Walthamstow, East London, after a fire thought to have been deliberately set. Police suspect the blaze may have been related to a prior incident outside the property. The victims’ identities are still being established, and their families are yet to be notified. Witnesses or individuals with doorbell or dashcam footage are urged to come forward with information. No arrests have been made as the murder inquiry continues.

Suspect Vehicle Identified in Duncan Hit-and-Run

The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) are investigating a fatal hit-and-run incident that occurred on Highway 1 in Duncan last week. A woman was struck and killed by a vehicle on April 18, and the suspect vehicle has now been identified as a 2011-2013 model Hyundai Elantra, gray in color. The vehicle is believed to have significant damage to the front driver’s side. The RCMP is urging the driver or anyone with information to contact the North Cowichan/Duncan RCMP.
