The iconic ruby slippers worn by Judy Garland in ‘The Wizard of Oz’ are back on the auction block nearly two decades after they were stolen. The thief, convinced they were adorned with real jewels, smashed into the Judy Garland Museum in 2005. Now, the slippers, one of only four surviving pairs, are being auctioned off with bids ending on December 7th, 2023. The Judy Garland Museum is among the bidders, hoping to return the precious artifact to its rightful place.
