While stepping away from the ring, Cena will remain involved with WWE, participating in Monday Night Raw as it moves to Netflix in January 2025.
The original finish of the historic all-female WrestleMania match between Becky Lynch, Ronda Rousey, and Charlotte Flair was altered to prevent Rousey from tapping out. Lynch, who emerged victorious, revealed that Rousey was hesitant to submit in the pre-determined match due to her reluctance to tap out during her UFC career. The match ultimately ended with Lynch pinning Rousey using a crucifix, but the finish was mired in controversy as replays showed one of Rousey’s shoulders being up during the three-count.
