Pune Porsche Crash: Father and Grandfather Granted Bail, Remain in Custody for Other Cases

The father and grandfather of the teen accused in the Pune Porsche crash have been granted bail in the case of kidnapping and wrongful confinement of the family driver. However, they remain in custody for separate cases related to tampering with evidence and coercion. The teen, who was released from observation home on June 25, is accused of driving under the influence and causing the fatal accident.

Pune Police Arrest Grandfather for Confinement in Minor’s Fatal Car Accident Case

Pune Police have arrested the grandfather of a 17-year-old minor accused of fatally hitting two individuals with his car, for allegedly confining their family driver. The teenager’s father, Vishal Agarwal, is also named in the case. The incident occurred on May 19th when the minor allegedly drove the car while intoxicated, resulting in the deaths of two software engineers. The driver initially claimed responsibility for the accident but later retracted his statement, leading to the arrest of the teenager.
