Cat Ninja and Red Pixie are among the exciting horses set to race at Yarmouth and Brighton on Tuesday, April 30th. Cat Ninja is a daughter of Cotai Glory and is making her racecourse debut, while Red Pixie is a daughter of a mare trained by Sir Michael Stoute. Other horses to watch include Running Spirit, The African Queen, Wisper, Nighteyes, Royal Elysian, and Shin Jidai.

Cape Elizabeth avenged last year’s playoff loss to Yarmouth with a 7-2 victory Monday afternoon at Holman Field. Junior pitcher Jameson Bryant led the way for the Capers, allowing just one hit over five innings. Andy Choi and Bryant each drove in two runs for Cape Elizabeth, while Hayward and Inman had multiple hits. Yarmouth’s only runs came on a two-run single from Sam Bradford in the top of the fourth inning.
