Mobile Fighter G Gundam, the iconic mecha anime from the 90s, is making a surprising comeback with a side story directed by the original director, Yasuhiro Imagawa. The side story will be released this summer, 30 years after the anime’s debut. Imagawa expressed his excitement for the project, saying that he had been planning it for 30 years. The announcement was accompanied by a brand-new illustration featuring the series’ protagonist, Domon, and other characters.
