Mumbai and its suburbs are expected to experience heavy rainfall on July 27, with a yellow alert issued for the city and Thane. The Regional Meteorological Centre has predicted moderate to heavy rainfall, accompanied by gusty winds, for the next 24 hours. Other parts of Maharashtra, including Pune, Raigad, Ratnagiri, and Satara, are also bracing for very heavy rains, prompting an orange alert from the IMD.
