The Andhra Pradesh education department has renamed several student welfare schemes, previously named after former Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, with the names of renowned figures in education, such as Dr APJ Abdul Kalam and Dr Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan. Balakrishna contrasted Jagan’s rule with that of his father, former Chief Minister NT Rama Rao, who, according to him, provided food, shelter, and livelihood opportunities to the poor and middle classes. He urged voters to support TDP candidates in Nellore for a brighter future.
