In the 183rd District race for the Pennsylvania House of Representatives, four-term incumbent Republican Zachary Mako defeated challenger Zachari Halkias. Mako secured a commanding lead in Northampton County with 3,761 votes to Halkias’ 730. While the race was tighter in Lehigh County with both candidates receiving around 800 votes, Mako’s substantial margin in Northampton County proved insurmountable. Zachari Halkias, a member of Slatington Borough Council, was Mako’s first primary challenger since 2018.
