Zehnder’s Fortress Golf Course in Frankenmuth, Michigan, has unveiled a new 3,000-square-foot Pavilion, offering a vibrant space for social gatherings. The course is also undergoing significant upgrades, including new GPS-equipped golf carts, revamped cart paths, and plans for a new banquet facility and lodging option.
Zehnder’s, a Bavarian-themed restaurant in Frankenmuth, Michigan, is gearing up for its 95th annual Mother’s Day celebration on Sunday, May 12th, 2024. The restaurant, which has been serving up chicken dinners since 1929, anticipates welcoming around 5,000 guests for the special occasion. Zehnder’s, a James Beard award-winning restaurant, is a family-run business with a rich history. Albert Zehnder, the third-generation CEO and Chairman, has witnessed countless Mother’s Days on the serving floors. Family members of the fourth generation will join the leadership team and over 350 restaurant employees to serve guests in the 1,500-seat restaurant. A special Mother’s Day brunch will be available at Z Chef’s Café. To mark the occasion, Zehnder’s will also sponsor its 31st annual Mother of the Year Contest, inviting people to submit poems honoring their chosen mothers.
