The first full trailer for Tales of the Shire: A The Lord of the Rings Game has been unveiled, showcasing a single-player life simulation experience set in the beloved Middle-earth universe. Published by Private Division and developed by Wētā Workshop Game Studio, the game immerses players in the idyllic town of Bywater as a Hobbit.
The goal of Tales of the Shire is to foster a sense of community by hosting the greatest Bywater Festival. Players can engage in wholesome Hobbit activities such as customizing their Hobbit, decorating their home, and venturing out for cooking, fishing, foraging, and gardening.
The game boasts an array of character customization options, allowing players to create unique Hobbits. The trailer hints at the presence of iconic characters and familiar Hobbit families, who can provide upgrades to skills, clothing, and more.
