Talking Sabor, a documentary series hosted by celebrity chef Aarón Sánchez, is a celebration of Latin and Hispanic cuisine in America. The series follows Sánchez as he visits well-known Latin restaurants in some of the most prominent cities in the country, accompanied by a fellow celebrity chef. The first season premiered on Hulu on April 24, 2024, and fans are eagerly awaiting news about a second season.
As of April 2024, Hulu has not yet greenlit a second season of Talking Sabor. However, given the positive reception to the first season and the high hopes that Disney, Hulu’s parent company, has for the show, it seems likely that a second season will be announced in the near future.
Talking Sabor is a collaboration between Disney Advertising, Pepsi, and Sánchez’s Cocina banner. The series aims to take viewers on a grand ride of color and spice, celebrating the Latin and Hispanic culture and cuisine in America.
Disney Advertising’s senior vice president of entertainment and streaming solutions, John Campbell, stated to Adweek, “At Disney, we are continuously pushing for solutions that connect our audiences to content and experiences that resonate in meaningful and authentic ways. Our collaboration with Pepsi and Cocina is an incredible example of how our brands are able to deliver the celebration and how we can jointly influence culture at scale. Our individual strengths and missions to empower communities are greatly enhanced when we come together, highlighting the important power and impact of collaboration.”
If Talking Sabor Season 1 turns out to be successful, it will likely receive another season. Aarón Sánchez will likely return as host in the prospective Season 2.
