Actor Tamannaah Bhatia Summoned by Maharashtra Cyber Department in ‘Illegal’ IPL 2023 Streaming Case
Actor Tamannaah Bhatia has been summoned by the Maharashtra Cyber Department in connection with an ‘illegal’ IPL 2023 streaming case. The department is investigating a complaint filed against the actress for allegedly promoting an illegal streaming website for the Indian Premier League (IPL) cricket tournament.
According to the complaint, Bhatia allegedly posted a video on her social media account, promoting a website that allowed users to watch IPL matches illegally. The website is said to have violated copyright laws, as it did not have the necessary licenses to stream the matches.
The Maharashtra Cyber Department has taken cognizance of the complaint and has summoned Bhatia for questioning on March 8th. The actress is expected to provide her statement to the police and explain her involvement in the case.
