Tamannaah Bhatia Summoned by Maharashtra Cyber in IPL Unauthorized Streaming Case
Bollywood actor Tamannaah Bhatia has been summoned by Maharashtra Cyber to answer questions regarding the unauthorized streaming of IPL 2023 on the Fairplay App. The alleged unauthorized streaming reportedly caused significant financial losses to Viacom.
Bhatia is scheduled to appear before the nodal agency for cyber security and cybercrime investigation on April 29th. This follows a similar summons issued to Sanjay Dutt, who was unable to appear on the scheduled date and requested a rescheduling. Various other Bollywood celebrities, including Kriti Sanon, Varun Dhawan, and Ayushmann Khurrana, were also present at a recent Mumbai concert attended by Bhatia.
Bhatia’s upcoming projects include the Tamil comedy-horror film Aranmanai 4, which is set to release on May 3rd and also stars Sundar C and Raashii Khanna.
