Gabriel Catuy, 17, could face adult charges for firing shots near Armature Works earlier this month.
Surveillance footage captured Catuy firing shots during the incident, which left three people injured. He faces charges of attempted murder and being a felon in possession of a firearm.
“What he did that afternoon, those decisions that he made by shooting and actually hitting innocent people, those are adult choices, and he’s going to face adult consequences,” said State Attorney Suzy Lopez.
Catuy had a hearing in juvenile court Monday morning, and his attorney waived his appearance. He’s due back in court next month.
Jaimartez Young, 19, also faces attempted murder charges in connection with the shooting.
