Taylor Swift’s ‘The Black Dog’ Pub Becomes Popular Destination for Fans
The Black Dog pub in London has become a popular destination for Taylor Swift fans after being mentioned in her song “The Black Dog” from her album “The Tortured Poets Department”/”The Anthology”.
Fans have flocked to the pub to pose for photos and check out the blackboard where the pub’s manager has written the lyrics to “The Black Dog” in chalk.
The pub has added “Taylor’s Version” burgers and cocktails to its menu and has seen a surge in bookings, especially on nights when Swift’s concerts are scheduled in London.
The Black Dog’s manager, Lily Bottomley, told AFP that the pub has been “quite a whirlwind” since the song was released.
“We’ve had people coming from all over the world to visit the pub,” Bottomley said. “It’s been really exciting for us.”
Fans of Swift, known as “Swifties,” have made the Black Dog pub one of London’s newest attractions.
“It’s like a pilgrimage for Swifties,” said Dewmi Fernando, a 23-year-old tourist from Singapore who visited the pub.
Fernando, who has been a fan of Swift since she was young, said she was excited to visit the pub and see where the song was inspired.
“It’s a really special place for Swifties,” Fernando said. “It’s a place where we can all come together and celebrate our love for Taylor Swift.”
